Honourable Chief Minister Assam, Shri Sarbananda Sonowal chaired a review meeting today at Deputy Commissioner's Office Sonitpur to review the overall progress of NRC Updation work in the district. During the meeting the CM discussed various matters related to the ongoing verification process in the district. Here are a few moments captured during the meeting today - 21/08.2016.
Training for all District Project Supervisors conducted on 17/08/16 at the Conference Hall of the State NRC Office on various software processes related to the ongoing NRC Updation works. A glimpse of the Field Verification Process that has started recently.
A glimpse of the First State Level Training on Verification Process held on 14th and 16th September, 2015 at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra and District Library in Guwahati. The meeting was attended by Circle Officers, District Master Trainers, District Resource Persons, District Project Supervisors, Circle Project Supervisors and State Project Management Unit Team.
With the Application Receipt phase reaching the final stage Officials across Assam are actively participating in the process.
With only 10 days left for the final day of form submission, all districts across the state are gearing up for the Grand Finale. SPMU official Shri Hari Narayan Das (Data Analyst) recently went on a visit to upper Assam to train and educate the members of the Government authorised Common Service Centers(CSCs) /Arunoday Kendra on the e-Form facility. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the members of the Golaghat Press Club for their special effort. An Online Form Submission Facilitation center is established by the Club to assist the public in the form submission process. So far, 480 forms have been submitted through this Center. The members are working until 11.00 pm to ensure that each applicant is given due guidance in this process. Here are a few snapshots captured during the training sessions in the districts of Golaghat, Jorhat, Dibrugarh and Sivasagar.

As the Distribution of Application Form starts all over Assam, Training sessions and Public Awareness Meetings picks up momentum. Right from interactive sessions with the Public on How to fill up the Application Form, to training of the CRCRs, LRCRs, FLOs, LOs and other officials associated with NRC Updation project, round-the-clock activities takes off during the month of May, 2015.
